The Lengthen the Cords and Strengthen the Stakes Steering Ministry was commissioned by the Deacons to "Make recommendations to the Deacons and church body for changes in the organizational structure based on LCSS".

On April 18th, the Deacons met to review the proposed organizational structure. The Deacons voted unanimously to recommend that the church adopt the proposal.

The church received a presentation from the LCSS committee at the Wednesday Weaving's program on May 5th at 6:30pm. There will be time for additional questions and comments on May 15th at 10:30am in the church parlor. All church members are encouraged to attend.

The church will vote on the proposal at the Quarterly Business Meeting on May 26th, 2010.
